well i'm too buzzed to write in this journal right now so i'll just copy what i told to Laura!! :)
basically tonight was hilarious...one of the neighborhood-lady-bunko club nights...but we actually didn't play this time...read on
: HAHA! I was in a limo with 12 other drunken women, boozin on all kinds of wine and champagne...singing to 80s songs...driving through town the looooonnnng way!

: we just sat around this woman's AMAZING house...poolside...eating chocolate covered strawberries and drinking wine...
: then the limo ride home was even better!

I'm sitting in the Donkey with six of my favorite friends and I just realized that it is the second to last day that I am going to see them. I just realized how we've grown up to. I've been literally on my own for a long time. and I've been living with these people and succeeding in life. I just took an Econ final today and I think it went well. These girls are beautiful and fun and unique and everything. And it's amazing how much we have grown up...we're actually adults now.
I hope my parents are ready to let me continue to be an adult when I get home.
Alright ... we're being way too loud in this little coffee shop of ours! and I love it!

It's been a Dashboard week.
Last night I went to the Donkey and did a little econ and hung out with Laura. She and I are such a little punk rock pair and I love it. "Out of touch, are we out of time?" Good lyric. Then Em and Jen came up and we just bullshitted Sex in the City style, the four of us, and listened to open-mic "poetry"...I think that you can only try to make things so deep so many times until everyone sounds like they're trying too hard and nothing is original anymore. So we played Euchre and laura and I got euchred like 3 times in a row because I decided to just call it was, anything it was...and then we finally got kicked out at 1am...and I took home my mug because I'm in love with it. It's amazing...and tall, and glass...and reminds me of amazingly chill times at the Donkey! :)

I've been talking to people from home a lot...again, split minded on coming home.
I can't believe that my first year of college is over. I hope my parents are ready for me...I've changed a lot.
I can't wait to find a coffee shop to call my own at home...the Donkey is my place on campus.
Starbucks seems to be many peoples' coffee shop...Tru Love Cafe would have been a good one...but as we all know it shut down. Em asked me and Laura last night "Why do you get up in the morning?" That was pretty Deep yo.
Why do I get up?
I think it changes everyday...I want to learn, interact, pray, be ... basically any and all of the above. I don't think there is a particular person that I wake up every morning for. I get up every morning to participate in the sociailzed system of the university. I also get up every day because I enjoy being alive.

Today was a great day. I actually went to all of my classes...surprisingly did a great job on the Poly Sci test. I've been feeling pretty precarious lately and tonight was just the night i needed. Greek Week has been crazy and we have a social every night but I stayed in tonight to do work and actually caught of with my boys ... and LOVED it! I missed talking to Craig... the Starting Line CD was released today and so we listened to it pronto and just kicked it in his room for about 2 hours...talking about everything and I had not laughed that hard for a long time...apparently I'm a hick and he's afraid of hugs. Hmm...funny story actually. Then I looked through all his cd's absentmindedly giving my opinion on each and how i just ... don't see that one as one you'd listen to ... and I happened to find a dead crinkled up spider in the case of the Shins...so i show him and we have a moment about how weird it is, then he decides he should really put it in my hair...NO! So I told him I'd pour my 7UP in his shoes if he did it.
I poured 7UP in his shoes.
It was marvelous and I meant business!! :)
Anyway, then I caught up with my other Craig, Rob and Matt. It was a great night...I missed my boys! Well, I've got lots to do tomorrow morning...so this'll be a short entry... :)

college is an interesting place.
I LOVE COLLEGE...especially here...it's GORGEOUS and snowing like no other! It's gorgeous...and chilly cold! So this quarter I am swearing off guys...at least guys who want to be serious. Cuz honestly...I've got enough guy friends and it's just too hard to have a boyfriend right now. Especially one who wants to fool around with other people and decides to be just friends again with you but doesn't tell you for 3 weeks...3 weeks of confusion, mixed messages, and other girls. FUCK HIM!

I have really found in college that it is ok not to take crap from people. It is alright to fully say what is on your mind. However, it is also ok to remain reserved and to feel uncomfortable around people. It's going to happen a lot. I've also found that it's important to realize that people are different and they WILL ALL get on your nerves every once in a while...but it is because we're all different that we are such good friends. I've also discovered how important it is to stay true to yourself and not to lose yourself or stop discovering yourself in college. absolutely... I was losing myself this quarter.
The girls I hang out are interesting...they are very superficial sometimes...some of them. I can tell they were all in the "in crowd" at their highschools. and for good reason...they're all bubbly, energetic, pretty, blonde, perfectly nice with a dangerous side. They're confident, flirtatious...friendly...everything! They're good friends and I know they've got my back...and ofcourse I have theirs. It's knowing how I don't fit in so well that I find my strenghth and realize how important it is to stay ME and not become THEM...because if I did...i would be pretending...which is a.) not worth it and b.) not me
don't get me wrong, i love them, have fun with them, we have good times, great memories...but I stopped going to church and started worrying about my weight constantly...
Keep in mind that all my friends are like size 0, 2, and 4s
so it was a bit challenging...but I decided that I just need to keep focusing on school... and not get wrapped up in images so much.
but now i'm going to the gym to work up a little sweat and then it's off to the GAVIN DEGRAW CONCERT TONIGHT!!!

I'm back to OU and loving every minute of it! It was even better coming back this time because everyone knows eachother already and we missed eachother...and now we're all having an absolutely wonderful time! Or at least I am
although last night was rough...and I punked out on my girls and didn't go to the Delts afterhours...but i had SO MUCH FUN playing truth or dare and spin the bottle! haha...Bryant was such a P.I.M.P.!!! and there was this guy named like Chesney...and he was sloppy and no one wanted to kiss him
but it was freakin awesome! and i got SO sloshd...I drank a full glass of vodka and then a bottle of 7up! sick...is pretty much all i was feeling afterthat! I was also a bit in need of some love cuz adam and aren't super right now...i wish it could be like last quarter. We're both just frustrated with eachother i think...cuz we both want what we had last quarter.
but that book is shouting "HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU!"
and I admit I am not attracted to him quite like first quarter either...I'm not a big settler either...always on the move
So long story short...i got way drunk...taught myself a lesson and passed out in my bed around 12...after actualy being very responsible about my health...making sure I stayed awake for a while and ate some ritz crackers and drank water...yay for me and my drunkass responsibility!
so now i'm having an awesomemorning...talking to antolin onine and sitting in my comfy bed propped up with pillows...trying to convince mom to let me go to Florida springbreak!

Ok so seriously...I am in a dilemma
MySpace has currently been taking over many of my friends' lives. I don't get it. It just seems like an easy way to stalk people you don't know and to be stalked. YOU STALKERS! However...I did ... think about joining...BUT just for a minute-then I quickly reminded myself of the pointlessness of it.
sheer pointlessness and boredom.
No one should spend their time on the computer checking out who's hot and who's not. like that hot or not website. PEOPLE get LIVES! Plus... you can ask/apply to be friends with people for the sole reason that they are attractive to you.
mmm...I know I know, some of you crazed my-spacers know most of the people who are your friends...that's valuable. However, this stupid program is ruining the self-respect and good ol fashioned conversation time for the rest of us charming individuals.

Sitting here with my last thoughts for the quarter. I'm in my dorm room sippin on mint tea and listening to Dave...beautiful morning. Oh yeah, and it's 30 degrees outside! Sometimes when you're alone in your dorm room you think...hmm...I have no one to chill with, no one to talk to...no one. But, that's just because you're used to being around people all the time...soooo I wanted to update you all on the REAL life of yours truly for this quarter and on all of my favorite people here..well my chicas for now, and the boys can wait for later ... like it should be hehe {{and if you're not on here, it's because I'm getting a hand cramp...not gonna lie :)...}}

Eva-Whoever was assigning roommates must have really liked me because they picked a great one for me! 8:48 am - how did college get so rad?

Currently I'm sitting in m dorm room...across from the 2nd floor bathroom..and wondering WHY ON EARTH did Drew and I go to breakfast at 7:00 am!!! I thought I had to buy books but it turns out that the bookstore isn't open till after my first class at 10...so in essence, I'll take care of that later...good thing I only have to sit through two grueling classes today!
Not too grueling...here's the breakdown
French 211 at 10:10 (all classes start at 10 min. past) with this old professor guy...he's so nice...lots of work though
Journalism at 12:10 lots of work...a quiz on 20 words every day...actually I should study soon for that. Nice teacher...she's new...but not stupid...
History: Modernity! at 2pm and my professor is so cute! and he's only like 6 years older than me...not saying I'm looking...he's just good looking and nice! :)
I-Art from 6:10 to 8:00...this is a bit of a strange class...our teacher is a SUPER NICE Chinese woman with a sweet *ss name! WangYiyou! Her given name "yiyou" means something poetic..."feminine and pretty white clouds floating far and wide across the sky"...i think. And then I have the entire boys (and i mean boys) hockey team. They're so stupid...but funny as hell! just messin around the whole class. Which I'll admit makes it sooooooo much more interesting but I get all nervous at the same time...they think they're the sh*t. And I sit next to "Crazy John"...I'll keep y'all updated.
and actuall no, they don't really say y'all in Ohio...just "pop"...that's soda for all my Cali people.
What else...well, not a lot goin on with the nightlife this week but the weekend was INCREDIBLE...hangin out with diff. people...Drew, Genna, Mike (HOTT), Katie, Eva, Drew, Andrew, Bryant, Michelle, Lauren, Amanda*2, Cody, Lisa, Jeanne, Doug, etc...meeting more people tomorrow night...might not remember all of their names tho... for undisclosed reasons ofcourse. Played tennis too...and then it rained on all of us...and the hot guys were shirtless...can you just say beautiful.
Why do boys' rooms smell so awful? Boys...just spray cologne in your room and you'll smell better, your stuff with smell better, and girls will be falling all over themselves to try and get in there to that heavenly smell! I LOVE the smell of a good cologne! There are some "make ya weak at the knees kinds" too...but ofcourse I couldn't say which ones because then you'd all know one of my weaknesses! ;)
So my cuz is gonna pick me up this weekend so we can party in Columbus...YAY! my weekends are AWESOME here! Really livin up to the top5th party school in the nation! woohoo! Chris I hope you're reading this cuz when I come to NY for this club even in the spring, baby we better be hittin the clubs!
so it's been interesting here...my roommate and I get along great...tonight we have a hall-social bbq...induction ceremony was cool including the teachers dressing up in their appropriate academia robes and all the freshman parading through the main gates behind the band! and then...just frat house after frat house and Palmer St., Mill St., Court St., High St., State St. parties...the parties are EVERYWHERE! I LOVE BEING A GIRL...it's like a free invite anywhere. Automatic offers...and since I'm a freshman girl...even better!
And I've been working out everyday and eating healthy for any of you who have been worried about my personal well being!
Otherwise...I miss my Cali friends and I hope that I get visited by someone but we'll c cuz that's still in the works!

Hullo again!
I haven’t updated in a while because honestly…so many things have been going on and my life has been a non-stop whirlwind lately. So it’s really quite nice to sit at my computer this morning at 7am and relax…aka…the rents woke me up and I can’t get back to sleep!
Brandon made me dinner last week…we’re talking Home Made Chinese Food people. Turns out he is thinking about opening up a restaurant when he’s older…look out Vlade!…someone with some real style and cooking abilities.
So…hmmm…most recently I went to Lake Sheridan again and nearly broke my leg jumping off the launch pod and I was thrown from the PATRIOT! (their new tube) 3 very memorable times…including one where I had to put myself back together in the water. Went wakeboarding but I’m really rusty…then had a BBQ and showed Julie my new phone…it’s awesome…with a camera and everything.
Camp Far West and Lake Oroville are this weekend…my parents insist that they know that I want to go camping so we’re going…though I’ve pleaded my case to not go many many times.
Went to the Underground…lemme just say that I met some VeRy SwEeT New Yorkers there!!! Who knew!? They were in the band Arcasia and they are traveling around (from NY) …and I decided to just walk up and hug the dude…he was awesome and very friendly and his pants were tighter than mine. (naturally, Josh suggested that I just get tighter pants then…you’re a politician Josh). Next up was Melisma and they were incredible…I hope Luke believed me when I told him that because they really were awesome…the best thing there…even better than Arcasia who were very similar to Coheed. And Gabe…Isaac and Jake’s cute brother was an incredible singer! He hit high notes that I can only dream about…and the song about “her eyes” was really pretty. Luke’s drumming brought back memories. Some good, some great! The other bands weren’t very good…Scary Kids Scaring Kids was like watching Taking Back Sunday and Thursday all rolled into one. But they get props cuz they’re touring from AZ and they had 3 guys on guitar…one small dancing pianist *good one Josh* a bassist and a drummer…so 6 guys on stage…all in tight pants with crazy hair! Who knew the Underground was such a touring roadstop. Finally there was another band…a family event where: mom, dad, little bro and his buddy, and 90 YEAR OLD GRANDMA were at the show. It was hilarious! Grandma was rockin’ out…doin the traditional head-bob.
So that was fun…wish you could’ve come Erika and Tangy Mangy.
Uh…a short random hang out with Laura and we both slept through our alarms…I officially sucked at directions too. Go left…errr right…no straight off the exit but merge left and the shopping center is on your right….squint. You get the idea. Twas very fun tho…every day with Laura is a great one. Then we really got to hang out and watch random movies…and eat Nilla Wafers WITH MILK! Yum.
Allie’s play was incredible…that girl can SING…which we all knew…but she can DANCE too! Poor Jimmy just watchin the whole time. Though he doesn’t like to dance much. What a catch tho…they are SO cute together!!! They’re even both blonde and sweet and just awesome people. I had never seen West Side Story before … but if you want to see an incredible representation of it go to the Tower Theatre in Roseville this weekend…it’s $18 but well worth it.
Church was fun too…we sang a new song by Matt Mahr…t’was B E A Utiful…and Brandon came (surprised me) and everyone loved him. Then we all went to Chili’s afterward and flirted with the gay waiter…until he played with my hair…then it was all over for my friendliness. Then I focused on the millions of “private calls” that I was getting from someone (*cough* Trevor *cough*) The waiter was really crushing on Sean and Sebass though. He thought Seabass was the hottest thing since sliced bread!!! And he gave Sean a “special” handshake when we left. What a spark! What a connection! OOoooooh Honey!
Sadly, I took a raincheck on the Incubus concert but that didn’t stop me n’ K-dawg (aka Katie-D) from having a “Boycott Incubus Cuz We’re Bitter” day. It was fantabulous and later on I finally got to paint with Dan, Brad, and his friend Alex. So fun…lots to finish though. Gotta call Brad back today. Sidenote…I love gay guys! Now Dan is spreading a rumor that I have 3 boyfriends because I walked into Petroglyph with the (and I quote) “incredibly sexy, you can’t have none-a this, big shouldered, no nonsense…uhh…I’m super” walk. So I suppose that would allude to whatever he’s alluding.
Um…partied a lot last weekend which was awesome…I really had been missin it and missing my Schnenna from all the traveling. Met lots of cool people and got to hang out with Schnenn and Kimmy this weekend. Another “shindig” tonight…actually two, but one is for work. So if you need me call my cell! My last day of work is tomorrow!!! Woohoo!!! I love the kids but they’re drivin me crazy and I wanna go to college!
Also, I heard the Used are coming…and I know Jack Johnson is coming in August…and Taking Back Sunday is coming October 12th. Shouldn’t it be 12vth…or 12fth?
What a small world it is…Dana knows Andy, Dave, and John and she came to breakfast club randomly yesterday morning. I know John, Dave and Andy from church and Dana from work who also knows Meredith who I work with who knows Miles and Elliot and Elaine from Oakmont and we both work with Katie who has now been dating John for a year or two and their best friends who I know, Laura and Ryan and Gordo, Meredith knows, too! And Miles knows Shannon who knows me from school and Bilboa from ice skating…so it’s all just a crazy mixed up small world and I love it! O yeah, and the hott guys drove by last night in there white truck…both of them…and one was wearing hot glasses, and he had hot hair, and was wearing a hot (not hotpink…hott pink) pink w. white stripes shirt and they gawked out the window at me, smiled and waved. I am so blushing now! I was just in my scrubbies too! Sweetness…Aww…the boys down the street…sooooooo hot want to touch the hiney, arouuuuah!!! (Billy Madison-ish) But I’m not really lookin right now.
So that’s my update for today…it’s been a long time but there’s been so much goin on…I’ll be Sea-dooin this weekend… and Friday is the big BBQ! Now for a long, hot bubble bath with Nemo Bubbles...perfect start for a day! Only 3 more weeks and one day till I leave for Ohio!!!

Hey all…no update in a while but u know how summer goes…a mile a minute! So don’t blink
Anyway…so goin to the lake today to break in the new Jet Ski YEHAW…then partyin the night away
So many things have been goin on in my life…catching up with new people, finding my true friends, doing lots of church stuff…working…
So…what can I talk about. How about a little inspiration for all of you who think they are so down on their luck…I know how you feel-probably not entirely the same but close.
Look on the bright side of things…when there is darkness yet you focus on the light, no shadows can haunt you. GET OUT AND DO STUFF!!! Seriously…I have become so fat and lazy and just bored as hell…a little sad too, because I was just hangin around the house and not doing anything…but now, working, hangin out with people…not always for partying, but just being with people, and playing games has seriously brought me to a better place. Oh yea, and also kickin the prayer in to high gear. Foshizzly my breakfast clubbers!
Otherwise…if anyone wants to hang out or GO CRAZY just gimme a call! I’m just 7 digits away
